EXTERIEUR
Deze fraaie Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina Series 2 begon zijn leven in 1971 en is in 2024 geïmporteerd naar Nederland. Het lakwerk is opnieuw gespoten in 2022 en is sindsdien goed bewaard gebleven met slechts enkele gebruikerssporen. Het zou goed zijn om het lakwerk nog een keer te laten polijsten voor een diepere glans. De 'Cromodora' stervelgen zijn vervaardigd uit aluminium en bevinden zich nog in goede staat. De carrosserie heeft goede passingen van naden en is roest- en schadevrij. Ook de rubbers zijn gaaf en de verlichting is fris. Al met al een algemene nette staat, zeker gezien de leeftijd van de auto.
INTERIEUR
Ook het maroon lederen bordeauxrode interieur is een waar kunstwerk en verkeert in een zeer nette staat. Het interieur beschikt over fraaie tellers en een houten dashboard dat nog in zeer fraaie staat verkeert. De auto laat zich besturen door het fraaie houten 3-spaaks stuurwiel. Het interieur heeft normale gebruikerssporen en verkeert in algehele nette staat. Alle tellers zijn werkend. De lederen bekleding is vrij van scheuren. Voor veiligheid en comfort biedt de auto verwarming en gordels. De kofferruimte is verrassend ruim en verkeert eveneens in een nette staat. Keurig afgedekt onder de koffermat bevindt zich het reservewiel.
TECHNISCH
De Berlina is zorgvuldig en met passie onderhouden, veelal door Alfa Romeo specialisten. In 2022 is het achterste gedeelte van de uitlaat vervangen door RVS. Ook zijn het voor- en het midden gedeelte van de uitlaat vernieuwd. Tevens zijn alle 4 schokdempers vervangen door exemplaren van Koni. Ook is de cardanas gereviseerd en zijn lagers en keerringen vervangen. De motorruimte ziet er verzorgd en droog uit. De 4 Toyo banden rondom hebben nog ruim voldoende profiel. De 4-cilinder is 1779 cc groot, levert 116 pk en beschikt over dubbele carburateurs. De handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak zorgt tezamen met achterwielaandrijving voor een ultieme rijervaring. De auto start, rijdt en schakelt goed.

De Alfa Romeo Berlina was het topmodel op het befaamde 105-platform, dat ook de iconische Giulia voortbracht. Onder de motorkap lag een krachtige 1.8- of 2.0-liter motor. Dankzij de langere wielbasis bood de Berlina royaal comfort en ruimte voor het hele gezin, zonder concessies te doen aan rijplezier of stijl. Verder had de Berlina een sterkere motor en een door Bertone hertekend koetswerk met vloeiendere lijnen en elegantere details. De Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina en 2000 Berlina werden geproduceerd tussen 1968 en 1977. De naam Berlina is de Italiaanse term voor sedan. Beide modellen waren uitgerust met de bekende Alfa Romeo Twin Cam viercilindermotoren. De 1750 Berlina (1.8 liter) verscheen in 1968 en werd in 1971 vervangen door de 2000 Berlina (2.0 liter). De 1750 werd gepresenteerd in 1968 in Vietri sul Mare, samen met de 1750 GT Veloce en Spider Veloce, en daarna getoond op het Autosalon van Brussel. In 1969 kreeg het model kleine verbeteringen zoals zij-knipperlichten, een houten stuur en nieuwe pedalen (de zogeheten tweede serie).

EXTERIOR
This beautiful Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina Series 2 began its life in 1971 and was imported to the Netherlands in 2024. The paintwork was repainted in 2022 and has been well preserved since then, with only a few signs of wear. It would be good to have the paintwork polished again for a deeper shine. The “Cromodora” star rims are made of aluminium and are still in good condition. The bodywork has good seam fits and is rust and damage free. The rubbers are also intact and the lighting is fresh. All in all, it is in good overall condition, especially considering the age of the car.
INTERIOR
The maroon leather interior is also a true work of art and is in very good condition. The interior features attractive gauges and a wooden dashboard that is still in very good condition. The car is driven by the attractive wooden 3-spoke steering wheel. The interior has normal signs of wear and is in overall good condition. All gauges are working. The leather upholstery is free of tears. For safety and comfort, the car offers heating and seat belts. The boot is surprisingly spacious and is also in good condition. Neatly covered under the boot mat is the spare wheel.
TECHNICAL
The Berlina has been carefully and passionately maintained, mostly by Alfa Romeo specialists. In 2022, the rear section of the exhaust was replaced with stainless steel. The front and middle sections of the exhaust were also renewed. All four shock absorbers were replaced with Koni units. The cardan shaft was also overhauled and the bearings and seals were replaced. The engine compartment looks neat and dry. The four Toyo tyres all round still have plenty of tread. The 4-cylinder engine has a capacity of 1779 cc, delivers 116 hp and has twin carburettors. The 5-speed manual gearbox, together with rear-wheel drive, ensures the ultimate driving experience. The car starts, drives and shifts gears well.

Thanks to its longer wheelbase, the Berlina offered generous comfort and space for the whole family, without compromising on driving pleasure or style. Furthermore, the Berlina had a more powerful engine and a Bertone-redesigned body with smoother lines and more elegant details. The Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina and 2000 Berlina were produced between 1968 and 1977. The name Berlina is the Italian term for saloon car. Both models were equipped with the well-known Alfa Romeo Twin Cam four-cylinder engines. The 1750 Berlina (1.8 litre) appeared in 1968 and was replaced in 1971 by the 2000 Berlina (2.0 litre). The 1750 was presented in 1968 in Vietri sul Mare, together with the 1750 GT Veloce and Spider Veloce, and then shown at the Brussels Motor Show.
