The vendor bought this 1993 Jaguar XJS V12 in 1999 as a Category C damaged but repairable insurance loss. It was professionally repaired but then stored for 20 years and not used. A renovation in 2024 costing £6700 with marque specialist G&D Auto Services saw a full service with all oils and filters replaced, the brakes done including discs, pads and new handbrake pads, the rear axle removed, new pin kit and rear trailing arms done. There was also work on the fuel system, with the fuel tank removed and cleaned, a new pump and filter, flushed-out feed and return lines, Marelli injection module replaced, 12 fuel injectors fitted along with 12 spark plugs and a new distributor cap, rotor arm and injection leads done. In addition the wheels were refurbished with new tyres and new headlining fitted. The vendor tells us that it is an honest car and that he can guarantee the low mileage showing of 48,410 miles. It runs and drives well and he is unaware of any issues.
The car was registered in January 1993 and has had three registered keepers since then. Its MoT is valid until October 2025; when tested at 48,409 miles it had no advisories. Paperwork includes the V5C, most recent MoT certificate, and the 2024 invoices from G&D Auto Services. There's also a spare key too.
